Dr. John R. Sutton
Dr. Sutton completed his medical school and orthopaedic training at McGill University. For the past 40 years he has been an active member in the Department of Surgery (Division of Orthopaedics) at St Mary’s Hospital. During his tenure, he has been Chief of the Division of Orthopaedics, member and Chair of The Council of Physicians and Dentists, and then, Chief of Surgery from 2002 to 2012. During this period, staff recruitment, teaching and quality care were a large part of his mandate.
His present interests include the conservative management of degenerative arthritis and foot surgery.
